I hope
that while browsing through this site, you are touched by some
image. One that makes you smile, laugh, or just identify with a
common emotion with the subject in the picture. If so, then I
have done my job. If not, then I still have work to do.
Someone asked me why I began to do photography and there is not
one easy answer. I have a desire to "catch" the shot just like
anyone else, but more importantly, I want to capture a moment in
time that not only means something to my client but to me and to
the casual passerby.
We are all here for such a short precious while and to be able
to capture the spirit of just one moment in time can be a
treasured keepsake for years to come.
I have a tendency to become friends with all of my
clients...whether this is a strength or weakness, I have yet to
find out but I enjoy every minute of what I am doing.

| I thought
this would be a great opportunity to thank my wonderful family
for allowing me the time to pursue such an endeavor. My
children, Morgan and Alli Grace, are patient as I am always busy
doing something and my husband, Scott, has picked up a lot more
of the duties of "mom". I thank him for having the faith in me,
being proud of my work and just overall putting up with me and
the chaos that is me. I’m not so sure I would have been so
understanding if the tables were turned!
I also thank God daily
for this opportunity and for his mercy and grace with a
sometimes stubborn servant! Last but certainly not least, I want
to thank my clients, who go through the stress of getting their
two year old dressed during a fit of tears while keeping peanut
butter and jelly off of her brand new white dress, who bring
their tolerant mates for the "family" shot, and their precious
newborn for their very first pictures…who place their trust in
me to help document that one moment in time. It is truly an
honor!
